It resembles a butterfly’s feather, but this roof consists of two planes that are inclined towards each other. The roof of butterflies gained popularity in the 1950s and 1960s and is used today by architects as well. The butterfly’s roof is a conventional gutter and blow through system rainwater flows into the central trough where it can be harvested. Since diagonal roofs extend beyond the walls of the house, we will provide privacy and shelter in the external entertainment area and can filter the natural light internally.
