The kitchen, dining and family area are all designed to function as a large open space. Continuous ceiling and use of the glass helps to achieve this goal. The dark kitchen cabinet visually fixes the space and the antique chandelier serves as the sole complementary countermeasure to the sophisticated contemporary design of the space. A Palmer placed away from the rest of the house for privacy, the pool and the hill pass through the transom window. Cream, beige, white palette evokes various sand shades, repeating the coastal motifs of the rest of the house, refined furniture and abstract art and area rugs faithful to contemporary modern roots is. Next to this picture and the next light pillar and pool ambient light will create the resort like vacation home feeling. However, I am happy that I can live in this space throughout the year.
