Welcome to actor Mohanlal’s domestic!

Move up the stone steps and what greets you is the element of water flanking the house. The water is live with colourful fish swimming round. Over the waters lies a small wooden bridge which takes you inner. A Singapore understanding is what continues the water round natural and crystal clean at all times, a way perfected after years of effort.
Walk in and what unfolds is a jaw-dropper. You are left speechless. Down below lies an expansive aquarium, topped with glass and also you need to step throughout to get in, only to be met by some other aquarium in front. This is no normal fish tank. It takes you into the deep seas. You can see the lake spread outdoor through this aquarium. It is like seeing the sea flowing inside.
Here’s a private room, the walls of that are covered with pictures and artwork, gifts for the actor from buddies, with a country wide honour in center, observed by using the Padmashree Award. A absolutely non-public nook, the room is sound-evidence too.

A small step down ends in the drawing room. On one of the walls hangs what looks like a gadget, resembling a musical clock. The curious, antique piece got here lower back with Mohanlal from one in every of his journeys abroad. The drawing room opens out into a verandah overlooking the lake. One aspect of the drawing room is included with replicate doors. The view from the verandah is magnificent, with the sprawling Kochi backwaters and buildings looking like miniatures on its banks. Boats, huge and small, sail by using.
The swimming pool close to the verandah seems inviting. The pool which has no special dimension or form lies entwined between two njaval (black plum or jamun) bushes. There is a small niche on the verandah, a mini bar in truth. It’s like happening a small step for a glass of cheers.

The way up is adorned with curios. There are rooms geared up for children and visitors. An open bath space, the floors of which might be blanketed with white pebbles is a curious design detail. A shower in the area is an experience to be felt. Water from the bathe seeps through the pebbles and gives the effect of having a bath in a pebbly river with the shingle stones rolling below your feet. All the windows open out to the lake.
A verandah beside the main bedroom has the house theatre. It’s now not a median area. You can lie round, loosen up and enjoy a movie in all its accompanying luxurious, along with blu-ray era. An imported display and excellent sound structures are the highlights right here. This verandah opens out into an artwork gallery. This is Mohanlal’s arbor, his unique space wherein all his artwork collections, the ones he sourced from all his travels, uncommon pics, sculptures and all of the priceless gadgets the actor has won up to now are on show.

All of artist Namboodiri’s pics find a separate area here. A uncommon and awesome Thanjavur portrait finds pleasure of vicinity inside the artwork gallery. This could perhaps be the largest artwork gallery in Kerala in the possession of a non-public character. There are steps down from the gallery to the shady timber outside, to a canvas of natural splendor in which the lake meets the sky and the bushes host the birds with their limitless symphony.
