A Nalukettu is the symbol of architecture brillance of Kerala. The structure is made through considering the precept and norms of Thachu Sasthra and Vasthu Sasthra ( the technology of carpentry and structure). Nalukettu means four blocks and it has four blocks going through each of the 4 directions. Each of these blocks is known as depending at the path they’re facing – like vadakkini, padinjattini, kizhakkini and thekkini for blocks going through the instructions west, east and south respectively.
