What is AAC Blocks ?

AAC Blocks is a unique and wonderful sort of constructing cloth because of its super warmness, hearth and sound resistance, AAC blocks are light-weight and gives last workability, flexibility and durability. Its most important components include sand, water, quicklime, cement and gypsum. The chemical reaction because of the aluminum paste presents AAC its distinct porous structure, lightness, and insulation houses, absolutely different in comparison to other light-weight concrete materials.

When the paperwork are eliminated from the cloth, it’s far solid however nonetheless soft. It is then cut into both blocks or panels, and placed in an autoclave chamber for 12 hours. During this steam strain hardening technique, whilst the temperature reaches a hundred ninety° Celsius (374° Fahrenheit) and the pressure reaches eight to twelve bars, quartz sand reacts with calcium hydroxide to form calcium silicate hydrate, which gives AAC its high energy and other unique residences. Because of the relatively low temperature used AAC blocks are not considered fired brick however a lightweight concrete masonry unit. After the autoclaving technique, the cloth is ready for fast use on the construction website online. Depending on its density, up to 80% of the volume of an AAC block is air. AAC’s low density additionally money owed for its low structural compression energy. It can bring loads of up to eight MPa (1,160 PSI), approximately 50% of the compressive strength of regular concrete.

AAC gives first-rate possibilities to growth building best and at the equal time reduce charges at the development site.

AAC is produced out of a mix of quartz sand and/or pulverized fly ash (PFA), lime, cement, gypsum, water and aluminum and is hardened with the aid of steam-curing in autoclaves. As a end result of its incredible homes, AAC is used in many building structures, as an example in residential homes, commercial and commercial buildings, faculties, hospitals, hotels and plenty of different packages. AAC consists of 60% to eighty five% air via quantity.
