Direction:
A staircase must always be constructed inside the western or southern part of the house. It should now not be built within the north-east nook, as it is believed that a staircase right here can cause monetary losses. In fact, a staircase in any nook besides the western or southern nook is assumed to lead to losses.

Some primary standards:
> An external staircase can be built within the south-east – going through the east, south-west – dealing with the west, northwest – dealing with the north, and southwest – facing the south.

> The stairs need to constantly start from the north and pass in the direction of the south, or from the east to the west. A flip can also be made to different aspects in case of space scarcity.

> The stairs need to always be an ordinary range and the number must in no way stop with a 0.
