Built for a couple with a growing child, this house functions mostly as a one-storey house, but it can expand when children and others visit. By placing extra bedroom and bathroom on the second floor, Cohen and Hacker were able to keep the first floor compact. One thing that I always liked about couples’ work is traditional architectural style and details of modern spatial concepts.
