YOUR AMAZING CAR CAMPING KITCHEN

We don’t often cook dinner over a campfire except we’re tenting with a big group. Campfires are brilliant, but while tenting lengthy-term, they are able to emerge as a hassle, and luxurious when you have to buy firewood. The hub of our automobile camping kitchen is a Coleman 2-burner propane range that we use for maximum of our camp food. This is a workhorse of a stove, and we don’t go away home without it on maximum journeys.

Here’s what else in our car camping kitchen:

2 Saucepans, a -quart, and a four-quart – Our all-time preferred set is made through MSR . It’s very mild and made for backpacking. The lid has a strainer integrated for pasta, plus a removable pot grabber. We have had different sets over the years, but this one continues to be our favorite. It is an initial investment, but we’ve had ours for more than 10 years, and we nevertheless use it each summer time.

A 12-inch fry pan with a removable manage – We use this frying pan from MSR. It’s a brand new buy, but we love it to this point.

Plates and silverware for anybody inside the circle of relatives – We love these plates from MSR because they can keep soup or solids. They are light-weight, easy to clean and are available in distinctive colorings. We don’t use sporks or plastic utensils, simply everyday silverware that we thieve from our kitchen.

Travel mugs – We love our Contigos, that are to be had at many outside/bargain stores. We have one for each member of the family in a one-of-a-kind shade. They’re definitely spill-proof, this means that I can throw my tea in my backpack when I head out to look at the sunset after dinner.

A small slicing board a chef’s knife – We got this set from Primus. For Christmas ultimate yr, my husband offered me I adore it that it wraps up into its personal little package. We convey it with us to the beach, on avenue journeys, and even when we’re staying at inns.

A serrated, folding picnic knife – We LOVE this knife, which might be our maximum coveted object while we’re out tenting or picnicking with friends. It’s additionally our all-time favorite gift for out of doors-loving friends. We take it everywhere and use it for bread and tomatoes. For a few reason, it doesn’t get awesome critiques on Amazon. We offered ours domestically and feature used it luckily for 10+ years.

A whisk, rubber spatula, timber spoons, massive serving spoons, and a bench scraper – We don’t have committed camp utensils yet. We really snatch the whole lot we want from our kitchen earlier than we head out the door.
