Prepared pits are left to sun radiation facilitates in killing the damaging bugs, is powerful in opposition to soil-borne diseases and aids aeration. In saline-alkali soil in which PH is above eight Pit mixture is to be changed to incorporate natural remember.

Addition of organic be counted helps in reducing salinity at the same time as the addition of purlite improves, porosity and aeration. An alternative to planting in pits is planting in furrows. Depending on soil strata you can actually pick out the suitable technique as well as spacing and intensity at which plant is needed to be planted.

Planting Material of Banana Crop:
About 70% of the farmers are using suckers as planting material at the same time as the relaxation 30% of the farmers are the use of tissue lifestyle seedlings. Sword suckers with well-developed rhizome, conical or spherical in form having actively developing conical bud and weighing approximately 450-seven-hundred gm are usually used as propagating cloth.
In Banana Farming, suckers normally can be inflamed with a few pathogens and nematodes. Similarly, due to the version in age and length of the sucker, the crop is not uniform, harvesting is prolonged and control turns into difficult. Therefore, in-vitro clonal propagation i.E. Tissue lifestyle plants are advocated for planting. They are healthful, disease loose, uniform in increase and early yielding.
