The built-in U-shaped bench seat hides the underground reinforcement necessary to lower the floor level. The bead board treats the moisture by eliminating the insulation and draining the drainage system to a hidden groove leading to the sub pump. The foundation of the original loose stone was cleaned and the moisture remained exposed beyond the grade that is not a problem.
