1. IMPORTANCE OF KUBER YANTRA IN THE NORTH, EAST AND NORTH-EAST OF YOUR HOME
In Indian mythology, Lord Kuber is the deity of wealth & prosperity and represents glory and gold. The north-east direction is governed by Lord Kuber, hence all obstructions and spaces that accrue negative energy such as toilet, shoe racks and any bulky furniture items must be immediately removed. Keep the north-east corner of your home free of clutter and let it remain spacious for good energy glow. A mirror or a Kuber Yantra fixed on the north wall of the north section of the entire home can start activating new financial opportunities, says Ashna Ddhannak.
2. LOCKERS AND THE MAIN SAFES IN THE SOUTH-WEST ZONE
As per Vastu Shastra, one of the best ways to ensure financial stability is to grow your wealth in the earth corner of the home —the south-west. All your jewellery, money and important financial documents must be kept in the south-west (store such things in a cupboard or safe), facing north or north-east. Anything kept in this direction will tend to multiply, says Ashna Ddhannak. Do note that if the openings or safes/vaults are facing the south or west direction, then it would result in heavy expenses. Financial problems and heavy expenses can be averted by placing the main safe/lockers in a way that its door opens towards the north or north-east direction. Ashna also suggests placing a red cloth inside the safe along with Citrine crystal for attracting more financial success.
3. KEEP YOUR HOME CLUTTER FREE
This is an oft-repeated Vastu exhortation, keep your home clean, neat and free of clutter and unnecessary household goods and décor. Keep it simple and easy to maintain. The energy flowing through the house is responsible for how you handle your relationships, health and finance, so ensure that the central space in your living room is clutter free. Also, keep your windows and doors clean, and your storage spaces neatly organized in every room.
4. KEEP YOUR MAIN DOORS FREE OF REPAIRS
The entrance to your house is one of the main features you can enhance, according to Vastu Shastra. This is the space that attracts and welcomes positive energy, weatlh and prosperity and therefore, your door should be attractively built. Ensure there are no cracks or faults in the main door and the locks function smoothly. Also, place plants, wind chimes and clearly legible signboard (name plate) at the entrance to your house.
5. WATER FOUNTAINS & SMALL AQUARIUMS IN THE NORTH-EAST
Placing small water objects within the house in the north east section can bring in good momentums through money and positive energy flow. The form of an aquarium or a small water fountain (with water circulating through) is considered to be very auspicious. One must take care that water does not get stagnant and get dirty; it must be cleaned often, as stagnant waters in the house can bring obstacles in financial growth.
6. AN OVERHEAD WATER TANKER IN THE NORTH-EAST & SOUTH-EAST CORNER IS A BIG NO
Placing a water element, especially one as big as a water tanker or stage in the north-east or south-east corner of the house can lead to lots of pressures in life and ill-effect on health, such as severe headaches, pain in the chest, heart and stomach issues, along with
deteriorating mental health.
7. ANY KIND OF WATER LEAKAGES MUST BE IMMEDIATELY ADDRESSED
According to Vastu Shastra, water leakages in the kitchen, bathroom and even outdoor garden area is symbolic of money leaking and signifies financial loss. This is to be taken care, especially during monsoon. Any Leakages of water from the walls or a broken pipeline within the home must be immediately addressed as they can bring great monetary loss.
8. NEVER HAVE A TOILET IN THE SOUTH WEST CORNER OF THE HOME
If toilets and bathrooms are not built and placed as per Vastu Shastra norms, then it can lead not only to financial losses and monetary instability, but even to downfall in health and disturbed sleep patterns. Toilets and bathrooms should be constructed separately, as far as possible, and placed in the north-west or north-east side of the house (avoid corners). Installation of a toilet in the south-west or south-east is the next option, however, do not set this up in the south-west or south-east corners of the house.
