Double Storey 3 Bedroom Kerala Home Design with Elevation

This high-performance passive house is located on the south-facing mountainside of Portland, Oregon. Utilizing the exposure of the sun, the house has a strong visual presence. Fixed by two vertical tower elements that accommodate staircase and double height space this design is a complex composition of slipped volume and shape. Achieving this appearance while maintaining strict energy performance goals was not a small feat.
