You can build an automatic LED bulb for Rs 18
An Automatic LED Emergency Light circuit is designed to turn ON while there is no adequate lighting or if the power supply is cut-off. Earlier fluorescent lighting fixtures have been used to build such circuits. But using LED’s have verified to offer adequate lighting for an extended period earlier than draining the battery.

We have advanced three circuits beneath Automatic LED Emergency Light. Two of them are designed via Mr. Seetharaman, a totally precious and important contributor of this website. We have listed the circuits right here to your ease of studying. If you have any doubts; please comment with circuit name or circuit range.
Simple Emergency Light the use of LED
2. Automatic Emergency Light the use of LM317 IC
3. Modified Version of Automatic LED Emergency Lamp using LM 317
1. Simple Emergency Light Circuit
This is one of the maximum value effective (cheap) and simple emergency mild circuit developed for CircuitsToday – This is an automated emergency lamp with day light sensing, manner it senses darkness/night time and turns ON robotically. Similarly it senses day light and turns OFF automatically.
We have designed a simple emergency lamp circuit which does now not require any unique gadget; even a multimeter to bring together and use. Any character who can do a good great soldering need to be able to construct this circuit successfully. This can be without difficulty accommodated within the defunct two 6 watt tube National Emergency Lamp or any PL tube type emergency lamp. The distinction may be in the operating; it’s going to paintings non forestall for greater than 8 hours. Deep discharge is taken care via the LED function and over price safety is taken care by means of the constant voltage regulator. This makes use of a easy 3-Pin constant regulator which has a constructed in cutting-edge restricting circuit. The simplest required adjustment is the preset which needs to be set to make certain the LED’s simply light up (it must be left at that position). The 5mm LDR is simply installed on top of the emergency mild as shown inside the photo. LDR is used to avoid it lighting fixtures up at some point of day time or whilst the room lighting are ON. 2 LEDs are utilized in series; the losing resistance is avoided and 2 LEDs mild up with cutting-edge that is required for a single LED, by means of which energy is saved to a remarkable quantity.
Note: This circuit is developed by Mr.Seetharaman for readers of CircuitsToday. This particular circuit has been stored so simple for people who’ve confined get entry to to components or in other words that is an emergency light circuit that you may build with minimal additives. In addition to circuit diagram, He has shared pics of the prototype he made in National emergency mild and a PCB layout.
