Balan, native of Poinachi, Kasargod, proudly show around his brand new house built in the traditional architectural style, that too on a moderate budget. The house which has many vast scintillating features stands regally on a vast expensive of greenery.

The house is built by retaining the trees in the plot. Truss work paved with mud roofing tiles, is done over concrete flat roof. The unplastered exterior walls, slope roof and the unique sit out of this house are all classic features of the traditional kerala architecture. Gypsum false ceiling is installed in the living and the dining areas. An exquisite gypsum work enhanced with texture paint highlight the area from where one can enter the rest of the interiors from the living space.
