Lara Nobel and Andrew Carter took into consideration the affordability, home size and environmental impact of designing a small house on the wheel. Architectural graduates work with the architect Greg Thornton to make use of the design. Business began with a study trip to Portland, Oregon, where small house movements are well established. This house functions as both a couple’s house and a company’s prototype. At the Woodford Folk Festival and other events, I traveled nine times in a few months after completion. Currently located in the rental property of Brisbane, Carter has a subtropical garden around the house.
