One of the accomplishments of modernism is glass boxes that are used in office buildings, apartments and even at home. Certainly, the full height glazing for this house makes it fit the modern bill, but one detail wondered: wooden pillar is the house of a glass box house It is quite different from the steel used for. Nonetheless, this wood is kept in a modern category as it is an exposed structure like a modern residential building like Mies van der Rohe. If the structure is open to contemporary houses, however, the white steel beam under the wooden beam is another that points to a different way of thinking. Departure from this order can also be seen in the way the concrete hearth bed pierces the ceiling. Since its shape does not conform to the structure, the wooden beams have unusual intersections to accommodate it.
